Coming up very soon, and with Mod 21, very close on the Horizon, the NWN Team have been provided with an opportunity to chat with the Neverwinter Devs from Cryptic Studios.
We will be asking them many things, but we would like to know, if you could ask the devs one question... what would it be?
Leave your questions below, and we will try to pass on as much of the feedback as we can.
Keep your eyes on our socials for more updates on this in the next couple of weeks
I will now be closing this thread to comments. Thanks to all of you for your questions via here and your DM's. The answers will be released very soon!!

Are there any plans to buff paladin healers? They're currently very underperforming, to the point where I've been seeing a lot of groups ask for "cleric/warlock healers only", so I think they could really use a buff of some kind :)
Hi. Sent you a PM on Messenger with a link to the video I mentioned. viewing it will explain my concerns and probably my lack of knowledge as well. I am not criticizing the video author either. Thank you again for your patience and help.
It will definitely amongst the questions I ask, I guarantee that. Hopefully, I can get an accurate answer for you and the community.
Thank you for that, but I understood (please bear in mind I am in my middle 60's and not in anyway a coder or expert on the P.C. just a user of the devices) that it was possible to use the chat box syntax to write a line that can be bound to a key that functions as a macro. One of the U tube videos has a screen shot of the lines of text required to do this. This is all beyond my skills and could be the reason the more computer literate among my Guild think this is acceptable. Okay I am taking up a lot of your time so I will leave it with you to ask the Dev's to confirm the situation. I am very grateful for your help in this matter. Thank You.
Keybinds in general, that can be done in the game settings and within the chat box syntax (command codes) are allowed as they are provided in game on PC to all players. Macros, that require a 3rd party software outside of the game functions to setup and control them, are considered a way to 'gain an unfair advantage against other players...' Thats the part of the ToS that Macros would be in breach of. Ennileah ^
So I can mostly answer that for you now. Macros via programmable Keyboards and mice are already considered to be a breach of ToS. I completely empathise with players that have Dexterity issues and such, being disabled myself. I will bring this question to the team for hopefully a further confirm however. Thank you for raising it. 😀

If this comment/question causes and difficulty then please ignore and accept my full apologies. With the Bard alt it is possible to assign the tune notes to what I believe are called macros and assign the macros to single key presses. Many players are promoting such actions even via videos on U tube. As a Guild Leader I have been asked by Guild Members if such actions would constitute as "cheating". I am very concerned as obviously these actions go against the spirit of how the class should be played, yet as a partially disabled player my Bard on preview cannot survive manual note playing as it takes far to long to type the notes out, so I have restricted my Bard to the DPS path and a single quick slot. Now I will roll a bard on live servers when its available but restrict it to solo play. Can the Dev's please inform the loyal players if these macro's and key binds are permitted before players get into trouble. Thank you.
